What is the network connection speed on the VDS?

We provide our SSD VDS with unmetered traffic. It’s possible with following fair bandwidth usage policy, that applicable for all SSD VDS products.

Every our hostnode (server that handles virtual instances) are connected by a 1G or 10G to switch port and can burst to 1Gbps or more upload and download speed. This is based on normal usage, with the assumption that you will not be using your port at full capacity 24×7. By having a Fair Use Policy, you do not have to worry about surcharge or over usage. The option used by users who are not using the service for any high bandwidth services such as offering high volume video, CDN services, public VPN or file sharing websites. If for some reason you do not match the client profile for which this option was intended, our support team will contact you to discuss other options.

The total allowed amount of traffic rely on many factors like the type of traffic, where the traffic goes to etc. Note that we are providing shared bandwidth – all available network capacity is divided dynamically between all hostnode users. Dedicated bandwidth available for bare metal (dedicated) servers.

Terms: No incoming data traffic is calculated. Personal use, web hosting, personal VPN, video conferencing, private file sharing or CDN services and similar services are allowed. Public VPN servers with high load, torrent seedboxes or TOR exit nodes are prohibited. When using more than the fair use policy, you need to buy an upgrade to dedicated data port or dedicated bare metal server where utilization 100% is allowed.
